The branch of computer science concerned with making computers behave like humans. Artificial intelligence is much feted but its talents boil down to a superhuman ability to spot patterns in large volumes of data. In an HR setting artificial intelligence may be helpful to remove biases in decision making.

Strong AI technology can provide a means for completing almost any task far more efficiently. Whilst it might seem like science fiction, as advances in ai systems continue, there will be less and less need for human input for performing tasks.

Deep learning has significantly contributed to the growth and development of artificial intelligence systems in all fields. Many of these computer programs can now handle problems that previously could only be completed at a human level.
